I am a Senior Researcher and management team member at the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement NSCR, a research institute of the Dutch Research Council NWO. I am program leader of the Evidence-Based Policing research group, and also Professor of Evidence-Based Policing at the Department of Criminology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
